chemical machinery, engineering machinery, construction machinery, mining machinery,
petroleum machinery, plastic machinery, agricultural machinery, and various types of instruments,
a large number of types of seals are applied. element. O-rings are mainly used for static and r
eciprocating seals. For rotary motion seals, only for low speed rotary seals. O-rings are generally
mounted in a groove with a rectangular cross section on the outer or inner circle to seal. O-ring
seals still have good sealing and shock absorption in oil, acid, alkali, grinding and chemical corrosion.

Silicone O-Ring (MQ, VMQ, PVMQ) Material Description
Physically, silicone o-rings are based on silicon, an element derived from quartz. To create this class of synthetic
elastomers, pendant organic groups such as methyl, phenyl, and vinyl are attached to silicon atoms. Different
additions of side chains can achieve significant variations in properties. Silicone o-rings have excellent heat,
ozone, and corona resistance and have good dielectric stability and resistance to many oils, chemicals, and
solvents. Silicone o-rings maintain the best flexible properties at low temperatures but have low tensile
strength and low wear and tear resistance.
Silicone o-rings may also come in a metal detectable variation, while retaining the same qualities as the
general silicone o-ring compound. RUICHEN Sealing supplies silicone o-rings that are compliant with FDA
